Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Track Impulse is operated by Dennis Marinos trading as Track Impulse (ABN 22 384 472 747), Australia.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Track Impulse software ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. What Track Impulse is
Track Impulse is a Windows desktop application that provides low-latency haptic feedback for iRacing simulator users. It reads iRacing telemetry data and outputs audio signals to bass shaker hardware via an ASIO-compatible audio interface.
Track Impulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations or any other simulator developer.
3. Licence grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on up to 3 machines registered to your account, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Sell, sublicence, or transfer your access to any third party
- Use the Software for any commercial purpose without written permission
4. Account and access
Access to the Software requires a verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are associated with fraudulent activity, or abuse the machine registration system.
5. Beta access and pricing
During the beta period, the Software is provided free of charge. When the beta period ends, continued access requires a paid subscription. Pricing at that time will be as displayed on the Track Impulse website. We will provide reasonable notice before the beta period ends.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all Track Impulse orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. All billing, tax compliance, and payment processing is handled by Paddle under Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Software only for its intended purpose. You must not use the Software in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or interferes with other users or systems.
7. Intellectual property
The Software and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Track Impulse. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware configurations. Use of the Software with bass shaker hardware is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Track Impulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Software, including any damage to hardware.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Software at any time. On termination, the licence granted under Section 3 immediately ceases.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
